The Rutherford College Internship

Ngā mihi to Chris and Bronwyn from Community Waitakere and Janette from Forest & Bird for supporting this mahi. Your energy, enthusiasm and commitment has been inspiring!
The management of rat traps is a challenge at the local Orangihina reserve.
We took a field trip to help our Tika Māori and Pacific interns (students from Rutherford College) to comprehend the challenges that are faced by Forest & Bird volunteers and Community Waitakere who manage this.
Our interns will use engineering, science, mātauranga and problem solving to explore solutions to help.
